PEPOP is a bioinformatics tool dedicated to the prediction of antigenic or immunogenic peptides (depends of the use).
From the 3D structure of a protein, the algorithm identifies segments composed of continuous surface accessible residues.
These segments are clustered according to their spatial vicinity: the clusters are proposed to be putative epitopes.
Segments and clusters are used to design putatively immunogenic peptides (help page).
